Life is Pretty Much What We Make It!

Life really is pretty much what we make it!

That may sound over simplified but think about it.

Have you ever seen really happy people who just don’t seem to have anything go wrong in their lives?

Do you really think NO ONE pulls out in front of them in traffic?   No.  That happens to them too.

Do you really think they DON’T have at least one relative that puzzles them at times?  No. That happens to them too.

Do you really think they DON’T have an annoying boss or a crazy co-worker?  No, They have those unique people in their lives too.

So, what is the difference?

The difference between happy people and people who are constantly frustrated about life is that those who are happier are those who do not let life determine their happiness.  They don’t let things or people rule their happiness.  Somewhere along the way they realized that happiness is THEIR decision and THEIRS alone.  They realized that they wanted to be happy and they decided to just do it.

It really is that simple.  That’s the decision that is fairly simple.

It’s the ‘doing it’ part that is more difficult – especially if you have had years of practice in letting life attack you and govern you.

If we can remember that when we LET life attack us and steal our happiness then we are WILLINGLY giving up our happiness to the whims of life.

Knowing that is something we have control over is powerful.  It is quite liberating too.

When we know it is a conscience decision we make – that makes it easier to determine to make the right decision.

The first step in making the right choice is to first of all SEE that life is going to happen around us.  We can let it be in the drivers seat or we can take the drivers seat ourselves and determine that we will rise above the circumstances of life and Just Be Happy!  Being happy is a decision we make.

It really is that simple.

Try it!

And let me know how it is working for you.  We’d love to hear from you!
