Ro Lashua, DTM has been awarded the Distinguished
Toastmaster (DTM) award from Toastmasters International.
She has served as President of her local
Toastmasters organization and has served as the Toastmasters International
District 47, Division G, Area 72 Governor for 2009-2010. She is currently
serving as the Toastmasters International District 47 Club Coach Chair for
2010-2011.
She has a B.S. in Management and as a motivational speaker,
she taps into real life experiences to motivate and encourage her audiences as
she shows them how we all determine our own destiny.

Ro Lashua is a Distinguished Toastmaster,
DTM. She has raised four children and remained married for 37
years, yes, to the same man. There's a simple secret as to how to do that. She has worked in the corporate environment as
well as the public school system for most of her employed life. She has a wealth of
experiences to share, such as the benefits we gain from going through
difficulties.
The secret is to go through, and NOT STOP. We humans want to avoid
pain but life is painful, Ro will explain WHY it hurts and HOW to stop the

Ro Lashua, DTM has always wanted to be a writer. When
she was young she quickly learned that no one really cared what she thought.
Now she has "matured" to the point others believe she might have something
to say. Ro has learned the value of research and developed a love for
the information highway. She researches little known facts and or
sometimes, well known facts that need to be stated with an encouraging
